Chloe Sevigny x Saint Laurent (2024)

Photo Production

I navigated the added complexity of executing a seamless production in Provincetown, a difficult location to shoot, particularly due to challenges in securing equipment, accommodations, and permitting during the summer season.

I oversaw travel logistics: chartered vans from Boston, arranged ferry trips for other staff members, and reserved housing for crew. The shoot spanned over three locations, one of which was contained with a national nature preserve, requiring the booking of a dune buggy service to transport us to and from.

Particular emphasis both creatively and logistically came in working with Chloe to sensitively portray and address her relationship to Provincetown, an effort that led to intimate portraits with her friends and family.

The resulting images reflect the unique energy of Provincetown and the subsequent text conversation between Chloe and iconic writer Eileen Myles —made possible by a production process rooted in precision, adaptability, and respect for place.
